Engage Evolution Extreme v2.16 Raw Carbon Pickleball Paddle

One thing is for certain, the Engage Evolution Extreme v2.16 Pickleball Paddle promotes a high-caliber control game. We noticed many aspects of this paddle that play a role in bringing that control. Immediately, the 16mm HoldTek Core reinforced by PrecisionFoam technology caught our eye. This core works to enhance control on all of our shots by holding the ball (dwell time) to elevate our touch and thus our ability to place the ball precisely and control the match. The foam perimeter adds plow through ability and allows the sweet spot to stretch virtually from edge to edge. For even more consistency, Engage utilized a shorter 5 1/4 E1 Comfort Grip handle that results in an expanded face and sweet spot, so that the majority of our strikes feel smooth, pure, and go where we want them to.

While it is hard to believe that any other aspect of the Evolution Extreme v2.16 Paddle from Engage could possibly add more control, the Raw Radial Carbon hitting surface provided the cherry on top. Measuring in at 7 1/2” wide to supplement the 16 3/8” overall paddle length, this hitting surface relies on a long-lasting raw carbon texture to grip the ball as it dwells on the face to help you impart spin, before rebounding just enough to drive the ball past your opponent as it paints the line for a point.
